Exclusions and Limitations of Warranty Coverage

This warranty is subject to the following exclusions and limitations. Please review carefully as the warranty will not cover the following circumstances:

1. Environmental or Act-of-God Damage

The warranty does not cover damage caused by environmental factors or Acts of God, including, but not limited to:

• Sun fading or discolouration

• Salt exposure or corrosion

• Extreme weather conditions (e.g., heavy storms, hail, extreme heat)

• Natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, floods, hurricanes)

• Vandalism or malicious damage

2. Customer-Induced Damage

The warranty is void in cases of damage resulting from:

• Misuse or improper handling of the product

• Any unauthorized modifications or alterations to the pergola structure

• Application of non-compliant loads, including improper use of accessories not designed or intended for the pergola

3. Installation Errors

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• Failure to adhere to the installation instructions provided with the product

• Any installation conducted incorrectly or by an unqualified installer

• Structures installed more than 12 months after the original date of purchase

4. Mismanagement by Third Parties

The warranty excludes damage arising from:

• Improper storage, handling, maintenance, or installation by third parties not authorized by the manufacturer

• Incorrect or improper reassembly of the product by a third party

5. Structural or Foundational Issues

The warranty will not cover:

• Damage caused by installation on unstable or unsuitable surfaces, including, but not limited to, shifting concrete slabs or uneven ground

• Damage due to foundation issues not attributable to manufacturing defects

6. Motors, Lighting, and Electrical Components

• Motors, lighting, and electrical components are covered separately under a 2-year warranty. These items are excluded from the standard structural warranty.

7. Additional Exclusions

The following are also excluded from warranty coverage:

• Damage resulting from failure to follow the provided installation guidelines

• Structural damage caused by inappropriate or unsuitable installation locations

• Additional costs incurred due to disassembly, storage, shipping, or any other logistical issues
